Older Adults Research Partner Group

OA-INVOLVE has established a national board of older adult volunteers who advise on and make key decisions in the research process. In a series of local and national meetings the Older Adult Research Partner Group (OARPG) has developed selection criteria for case studies, which are an essential component of the project. Members of the OARPG revised reports and participated in developing semi-structured interview questions. Their involvement led to the improvement of these central products.
OARPG members gave presentations at the Annual AGE-WELL conference.

Community Partner Organizations

OA-INVOLVE recognizes the importance of working in partnerships with community organizations that are providing services to older adults. The project is making significant progress in formalizing these partnerships and it is exploring novel, innovative ways of working together towards achieving mutual benefits.

Academic Partners

OA-INVOLVE is a truly collaborative endeavour. Currently, four principal investigators, in four Canadian universities are formally affiliated with the project. However, OA-INVOLVE invites any academics to collaborate in a formal or informal manner to promote knowledge exchange, network learning, and dissemination of essential information related to improving involvement of older adults in research and technology development.
